C. Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center (upstairs)

In conjunction with the Harvest Jubilee celebration, the new exhibit, "Berries, Farms and Dairies", will open at the Stanwood Area Historical Society Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center on September 19, from 10AM until 2PM.  Later it will be open for tours on special occasions and by appointment.  Please call 360 629 6110 and leave a message to request a tour. www.sahs-fncc.org
The exhibit will emphasize one aspect of the economic heritage of the Stanwood area.  Through photos and artifacts early agricultural activities are depicted.  Dairy, berry and crop farms played an important role in sustaining the families as they produced for their own consumption as well as the surrounding area.
